2026-present-street-glide-3-windshield-freedom-shields
2026–Present Street Glide 3 Windshield | Freedom Shields

Freedom Shields Windshield for 2026–Up Harley-Davidson Street Glide 3
Premium AirCurve® Recurve Windshield — Direct Fit With No Additional Mounting Bracket Required
Freedom Shields windshields for the 2026-and-up Harley-Davidson Street Glide 3 are built for riders who want cleaner airflow, reduced helmet buffeting, and better comfort without sacrificing visibility or stability.
This windshield fits directly onto the factory windshield mounts used on the Street Glide 3. No additional windshield mounting bracket or conversion kit is required.
Freedom Shields’ proven AirCurve® recurve directs airflow approximately 2–3 inches higher than a conventional windshield. This allows many riders to use a shorter windshield for a clearer view over the top while still receiving strong wind protection at highway speeds.
The wider upper profile creates cleaner airflow for both the rider and passenger, helping reduce wind noise, helmet turbulence, and pressure during long-distance riding.
What Makes Freedom Shields Different?
Freedom Shields windshields are made from premium high-impact modified acrylic and are approximately 30% thicker than many aftermarket windshields. The additional thickness helps reduce flex and vibration while improving stability at highway speeds and in turbulent air.
Each windshield is handcrafted in the USA and finished with high-gloss, hand-polished edges for a premium appearance, excellent optical clarity, and long-term durability.
Freedom AirCurve® recurve directs airflow approximately 2–3 inches higher
Wider upper profile provides improved coverage for the rider and passenger
Cleaner airflow with less wind noise and turbulence
Approximately 30% thicker than many aftermarket windshields
Improved rigidity and stability at highway speeds
Excellent optical clarity with minimal visual distortion
UV protection helps prevent discoloration and hazing
Rain-X safe
High-gloss, hand-polished edges
Handcrafted in the USA
Backed by a five-year material warranty
Fitment
Fits: 2026–Up Harley-Davidson Street Glide 3
This windshield fits directly onto the factory tall windshield mounting system used on the Street Glide 3. No additional mounting bracket or conversion kit is required.
This listing is specifically for the Street Glide 3. Confirm your motorcycle’s year and model before ordering.
Available Windshield Sizes
Freedom Shields offers seven windshield sizes ranging from 10 inches through 16 inches.
The listed windshield size is measured along the front center surface of the windshield from the base to the upper edge.
Because the AirCurve® directs airflow higher than a conventional windshield, many riders can choose a shorter shield while maintaining effective wind protection and a clear view over the top.
How to Choose the Correct Height
Windshield height should be selected according to your seated riding position, seat, posture, and preferred line of sight—not rider height alone.
For riders who prefer to look over the windshield, the recommended starting point is to position the top edge approximately level with the tip of your nose while seated normally. This generally provides about two inches of visibility over the shield while allowing the AirCurve® to direct airflow above your head.
For riders who prefer maximum wind protection and look through the windshield, the top edge should sit approximately two inches above your normal line of sight. This provides greater coverage but can make visibility more difficult during rain or when the windshield becomes dirty.
For the most accurate measurement, sit on the trike in your normal riding position and measure vertically from the flat section of the dash in front of the vent to your preferred windshield height. Compare that measurement with the vertical-height chart shown in the product images.
If you’re unsure which height to order, contact us before purchasing and we’ll help you understand the measurement process.
Tint Options
Available tint options vary by windshield size. Tint affects appearance and light transmission but does not change physical fitment.
Clear and lighter tints provide the best visibility during nighttime riding, rain, and low-light conditions. Darker tints provide a more aggressive appearance and work best when the windshield remains below your direct line of sight.
Installation
This Freedom Shields windshield installs directly onto the factory tall windshield mounts used on the 2026-and-up Street Glide 3.
No additional mounting bracket or conversion kit is required. Always confirm that the windshield is properly aligned and that all mounting hardware is secure before riding.
Shipping
Freedom Shields windshields are handcrafted and built to order in the USA.
Free shipping within the continental United States
Average production and shipping turnaround is approximately three weeks
Tracking information will be emailed when the windshield ships
Test Ride and Return Policy
Your windshield will arrive with protective plastic film applied to both sides. Leave the protective film installed until you have confirmed the windshield’s height, fit, visibility, and performance.
You may install the windshield and take a short test ride with the protective film still in place, provided you have safe and unobstructed visibility.
If the height or performance is not right for your setup, the windshield may be returned for an exchange or refund as long as it remains in like-new condition and the original protective film has not been removed. Shipping charges may not be refundable.
Contact us before returning or exchanging a windshield so we can help you through the process.
Why We Carry Freedom Shields
Freedom Shields focuses on real-world wind management rather than styling alone. Its AirCurve® design, wider upper profile, thicker construction, and multiple height options allow Street Glide 3 riders to improve touring comfort without giving up a clear view of the road.
For riders spending hours in the saddle, the result is a calmer, quieter, and more comfortable ride at highway speeds.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0630/5116/9903/files/rn-image_picker_lib_temp_00e4c8ba-4cb2-4f3f-a0da-656e3f3b2e5c.jpg?v=1790730901
