Internal wiring can be one of the most frustrating parts of a Harley handlebar swap. KST pre-wired options help remove a major part of that job so the install can stay cleaner and more straightforward.

Important: Pre-wired does not automatically mean every cable, brake line, clutch component, or extension on your bike will work with every bar height. Requirements can vary by year, model, and setup.
FITMENT & INSTALLATION What Does My 2024–2026 Street Glide Require? Brake line, wiring and required clutch-cable information

These Bison Bagger handlebars are designed specifically for 2024–2026 Harley-Davidson Street Glide models. Both available heights work with the factory brake line and compatible electrical connections, but an extended upper clutch cable is required.

12″ RISE Stock Brake Line

KST states that the 12-inch Bison can be installed using the factory brake line.

14″ RISE Stock Brake Line

KST also states that the 14-inch Bison can be installed using the factory brake line.

Both heights work with the motorcycle’s compatible factory electrical connections when the correct wiring configuration is selected.

The KST Bison Bagger is built for riders who intentionally want a wider, more substantial handlebar on the redesigned Street Glide platform.

At 37.5 inches tip-to-tip with 8 inches of pullback, the Bison gives the cockpit a broad, aggressive bagger stance while keeping comfort and control in mind for long-distance riding.

Its signature meat-hook styling and oversized 1.5-inch tubing create a noticeably stronger visual presence than the factory handlebars.

FULLY PRE-WIRED CONFIGURATION What Does Pre-Wired Mean? What is completed before the handlebars reach your motorcycle

Internal wiring is one of the more time-consuming parts of a modern Harley handlebar installation. KST’s fully pre-wired configuration removes much of that work before the handlebars reach your motorcycle.

KST extends the compatible electrical harness to accommodate handlebars up to 16 inches tall and routes the wiring internally before shipment.

Once the handlebars arrive, the installer connects the controls, plugs the harness into the motorcycle and completes the remaining mechanical installation.

The 2024–2026 Street Glide uses a redesigned fairing, controls and cockpit arrangement that requires model-specific handlebars.

KST steps the Bison Bagger down in the necessary locations so its oversized 1.5-inch tubing clears the fairing and accepts the appropriate controls without requiring fairing modifications.

The result is a handlebar that delivers a noticeably larger custom profile while looking properly integrated with the motorcycle.

Fully Pre-Wired for a Simpler Installation

Pulling and extending wiring through internally wired handlebars can be one of the most time-consuming parts of a modern Harley handlebar installation.

With the fully pre-wired configuration, KST extends the compatible electrical harness and routes it through the handlebars before shipment. Once the bars arrive, the installer can connect the controls and plug the harness into the motorcycle before completing the remaining mechanical installation.

Fully pre-wired simplifies the electrical work, but it does not eliminate every installation requirement.

Important: Extended Upper Clutch Cable Required

Both the 12-inch and 14-inch Bison Bagger handlebars require an extended upper clutch cable on 2024–2026 Street Glide models.

KST’s quick-connect upper clutch cable connects to the existing lower cable section, avoiding the need to access the transmission during installation.

If you do not already own the compatible extended upper clutch cable, add it to your order before checkout.

The factory brake line can remain with either the 12-inch or 14-inch Bison Bagger. KST also confirms compatibility with the factory electrical connections when the correct wiring configuration is selected.

Handlebar height should be selected around your desired riding position—not rider height alone.
