Start With The Harley You Ride

The easiest way to choose Super Shox is to start with your bike. Three-wheel Harleys use SR1. Most two-wheel Touring riders should start with SR2 LT. From there, your shocks are built around your rider profile, passenger use, load, and how you actually ride. Why Super Shox

TRIKE & 3-WHEEL RIDERS — START HERE
SR1 is the Super Shox starting point for Tri Glide, Freewheeler, Street Glide 3, and Road Glide 3 . The important decision is getting the shocks built around your rider profile and load — not choosing between SR1 and SR2.
• Harley 3-wheel suspension platform
• Built around rider, passenger, cargo & riding style
• Easy preload adjustment as your load changes
• Built to order in the USA

Recommended Starting Point
For most Road Glide, Street Glide, Ultra, Electra Glide, and Road King riders, SR2 LT is where we recommend starting. It adds suspension travel and control while keeping the bike near its stock ride height.
SR2 LT Recommended

Extra travel and control with the relocation kit included. Best starting point for most two-wheel Touring riders.

SR2 SL Alternative

Stock-mount option for riders who specifically want the lower setup without the LT relocation system.

• Built around rider weight, passenger use & load
• Spherical bearing mount helps reduce suspension bind
• Built to order in the USA

For Riders Who Want More Adjustment
RR1 steps up to a remote reservoir and external damping adjustment for riders who want more control over how their suspension responds.
• Remote reservoir suspension
• External damping adjustment
• Available in SL or LT configurations
• Built to order in the USA

SR2 ride-height note: LT is designed to stay close to stock ride height while adding travel and control. SL uses the stock mounting location and sits about 1/2" lower than stock.

Super Shox — built for real touring miles

All Super Shox are hand-built in the USA and configured to your weight and load — and we verify every order within 24 hours so you’re not guessing at setup.

SR2 fits most touring setups (Tour Pack, luggage, 2-up, long days). If you ride mostly solo and light, SR1 may be the better match.

Most touring riders land on SR2 if they:

  • Run a Tour Pack or real luggage
  • Ride 2-up even occasionally
  • Put in long days or rough roads
  • Care more about stability than slammed height
Shock lengths are listed by real-world installed ride height. Uninstalled measurements may be slightly longer — once set to baseline the bike settles into proper sag and travel.

Super Shox Suspension for Baggers & Touring Bikes

Super Shox rear suspension is built for riders who actually put miles on their bikes — long days, loaded setups, rough pavement, and real-world touring.

Each set is hand-built in the USA and built-to-order for the rider, not just the bike. Your weight, load, and riding style are used to establish a proper baseline before the shocks ever ship — so they work the way they should from the first ride.

Most riders don’t realize how much stock suspension is draining them until they ride a shock that’s set up correctly.

Why Riders Choose Super Shox

  • Built-to-order for rider weight, passenger/load, and riding style
  • More comfort + stability over broken pavement and long highway miles
  • Tool-free adjustability so you can easily dial in for solo, luggage, or two-up
  • Spherical bearing mount that allows natural movement as you lean (better traction + performance than stock-style mounts)

This isn’t shelf-stock suspension.
It’s suspension tuned for how you actually ride.

SR1 vs SR2 vs RR1 — Choose the Ride Feel You Want

Super Shox offers three core models, each built around a different riding priority:

SR1 (Premier Series) — Comfort-first touring upgrade with simple setup and all-day ride quality.
SR2 (Premium Series) — More control under load (two-up, luggage, Tour Pack) while keeping comfort.
RR1 (Platinum Race Series) — Maximum response and tuning authority for aggressive / performance riding.

The goal isn’t chasing specs.
It’s choosing the model that matches the way you ride.

SL vs LT (SR2 & RR1 Options)

Some SR2 and RR1 setups include two ride configurations:

SL Shock (Traditional Stock Setup) — stock mount setup with upgraded damping and stability.
LT Shock (Most Riders Choose This) — adds usable travel for more control and comfort on rough pavement.

Important: both options maintain stock ride height when set up properly.
LT doesn’t mean taller — it means more travel and better control.  Most riders choose this.
