This Is How Your M8 Was Supposed to Feel
From the factory, Milwaukee-Eight touring bikes are held back in three places:
- Lean emissions-focused tuning
- Restrictive stock exhaust
- Limited factory intake airflow
The TAB Stage 1 Kit fixes all three at once — with matched components designed to work together instead of guessing part by part.
The result is immediate and obvious:
- stronger mid-range pull
- smoother throttle response
- deeper, authoritative TAB sound
- a bike that feels awake instead of choked down
This is the foundation upgrade most riders should have left the dealership with.
What’s Included (Everything That Matters)
- Your choice of TAB Performance exhaust
- Hi-Flo high-performance intake (color selectable)
- Power Vision PV-2B fuel management system
- 💥 Bonus: Free TAB Performance hat
No mismatched parts. No compatibility guessing. Just a complete, proven Stage 1 package.
What You’ll Actually Notice on the Ride
- Quicker throttle response when passing or rolling on
- Stronger mid-range torque where you ride most
- Deeper, cleaner exhaust tone
- Smoother cruising manners
- ~10–15 lb weight reduction
This isn’t just louder — it’s a better-running motorcycle.

Why Stage 1 Matters (The Honest Version)
- Factory bikes run lean → the PV-2B corrects fueling for power and rideability
- Stock exhaust is restrictive → TAB frees airflow and sound
- Stock intake is limited → Hi-Flo intake lets the motor breathe
Do one without the others and you leave performance on the table. This kit does it the right way — once.

🔧 TAB Performance — Rider Questions
Do I really need a tune with TAB exhaust or the Stage 1 kit?
Yes — if you want the bike to run the way it should. The exhaust and intake improve airflow, but the fuel manager (PV-2B) tells the bike how to use it. Without tuning, you’ll leave power on the table and the bike can still run lean. Think of it as lungs + brain — they work best together.
Will this be too loud for daily riding?
TAB systems are built around baffle choice.
-
Zombie = aggressive, deep, attention-getting
-
BAM = strong but more touring-friendly
-
Stock-style = smooth highway manners
You can have character without regret. Tell us how you ride (long trips, two-up, neighborhoods) and we’ll help you choose the right setup.
2-1 or 2-2 — which should I pick?
-
2-2: balanced power, classic Harley look, best for long-mile touring
-
2-1: sharper top-end, sportier feel, performance-bagger style
If your priority is comfort + traditional bagger stance → go 2-2.
If you’re building a hotter, cammed, aggressive bike → 2-1 fits better.
Is installation really bolt-on?
Yes. TAB systems are designed for direct fit with basic hand tools — no cutting or welding. Most riders can install in a garage in an afternoon. The only step that benefits from experience is the first tuner setup.
Will this work with future upgrades?
Absolutely. TAB products are meant to grow with your bike:
-
intakes
-
Redline cam kits
-
clutch upgrades
-
dyno or flash tuning
Stage 1 today becomes the foundation for Stage 2 tomorrow.
How does TAB compare to other exhaust brands?
TAB is known for:
-
Sound quality — deep, clean tone (not raspy or thin)
-
Real-world performance — built for street miles, not just dyno sheets
-
Fit & consistency — systems installers trust
You’re getting a purpose-built Harley solution, not a generic pipe with a logo.
What about long trips and passenger comfort?
Loudness is mostly about baffle selection, not the pipe itself. We can help you balance:
-
highway fatigue
-
two-up riding
-
neighborhood friendliness
-
the sound you actually want
Lead Time & Authenticity
We’re a U.S.-based authorized TAB Performance retailer — no knockoffs, no gray-market parts. Everything ships from the USA with full manufacturer warranty.
