TAB Performance Folsom Prison Series Handlebars

Harley-Davidson Touring
Handlebars do more than change the look of your bike — they change how your bike fits you.
Many touring riders are still running stock bars that are wider than they need or positioned too far forward. Over time that leads to shoulder fatigue, wrist pressure, and a stretched riding position that makes long miles harder than they should be.

The TAB Performance Folsom Prison Series Handlebars were designed to solve that problem while adding a distinctive custom look.
The signature Widow’s Peak design narrows the grip position slightly compared to many factory bars. That change brings your hands closer to a natural riding position, helping reduce strain on your shoulders and back while making slow-speed maneuvers and cornering feel more control.

For riders who spend real time in the saddle — whether commuting, touring, or riding two-up — that ergonomic difference becomes noticeable very quickly.

Built for Strength, Clean Installation, and Real Riding

The Folsom Prison Series uses 1.5" diameter “fat” handlebars, giving the bars a strong, solid feel while also providing plenty of space to route internal wiring.

TAB also smooths the internal tubing of the bars to help prevent wiring snags or damage during installation — something that can become a real frustration with bars that have rough internal welds.

The result is a handlebar that installs cleaner and holds up to real miles.
Finished in durable black powder coat, the bars are protected against corrosion and wear while maintaining a clean, aggressive touring look.

Why Riders Choose the Folsom Prison Bars

• Narrower grip position reduces shoulder and back strain
• Widow’s Peak styling for a bold custom look
• 1.5" diameter tubing provides strength and wiring space
• Smoothed interior tubing helps prevent wiring snags during installation
• Improved leverage and control for cornering and slow-speed riding
• Durable powder-coated finish for long-term protection

Built With Purpose

TAB Performance allocates 5% of all Folsom Prison Series handlebar sales to organizations that support military veterans, helping programs that improve the lives and community of those who served.

Fitment

Designed for Harley-Davidson Touring models depending on the specific version of the bars.
Some configurations may require extended wiring or cables depending on bar height and model, so verifying your setup before installation is recommended.

If you’re unsure which height or configuration will fit your bike best, reach out and we’ll help guide you before ordering.

Handlebar Measurements Explained

Choosing the right handlebar height and position matters for both comfort and control.
Height

Distance between the centerline of the base bar and the centerline of the grip.
(Some manufacturers measure height from the highest peak of the bar — TAB measures where your hands actually sit.)
Width

Distance from the end of one grip to the end of the other.
Pullback from Base
Distance between the centerline of the base bar and the end of the grip.
Pullback from Rise
Distance between the centerline of the riser section and the end of the grip.
Sweet.

The angle between the base bar and the grip that determines wrist position.
