SR1 — The Right Starting Point For Harley 3-Wheel Models
Tri Glide, Freewheeler, Street Glide 3, and Road Glide 3 riders should start with SR1. For 2-wheel Touring riders, SR1 can still be a good fit if you ride mostly solo, stay lighter, want the lower setup, and don’t need the added travel and load capability of SR2 LT. Every set is hand-built in the USA around your rider profile and load, and we verify every order within 24 hours before production.
- You ride mostly solo
- You stay local or take shorter rides
- You carry little luggage
- You don’t normally use a Tour Pack
- You want the simpler or lower setup
- You want a real upgrade over stock without needing maximum travel
- You ride longer distances
- You carry luggage or gear
- You use a Tour Pack
- You ride with a passenger
- You want more suspension travel and control
- You want our normal starting recommendation for 2-wheel Touring
SR1 is the clear starting point for Harley 3-wheel riders — and still a valid choice for lighter 2-wheel riders who want a simpler or lower setup.
The Right SR1 Setup Depends On How You Actually Ride
SR1 is the starting point for Harley 3-wheel applications, and it can also be a strong choice for lighter 2-wheel Touring riders who want a simpler or lower setup.
Tri Glide, Freewheeler, Street Glide 3 & Road Glide 3
If you ride one of these 3-wheel Harley models, SR1 is the Super Shox platform we start with. Your rider weight, passenger use, luggage, and normal load are used to help determine the correct setup.
SR1 Can Still Be The Right Choice
SR1 can make sense if you ride mostly solo, stay lighter, carry little gear, don’t normally use a Tour Pack, and want a simpler or lower Super Shox setup.
The Shock Model Is Only Part Of The Setup
Your rider weight, passenger weight, gear, Tour Pack use, and how you actually ride all matter. We verify your order before production so the setup makes sense before the shocks are built.
You May Be Better Off With SR2 LT
If you ride long distance, carry luggage, use a Tour Pack, ride two-up, or want more suspension travel and control, SR2 LT is our normal starting recommendation.
