STREET GLIDE 3 • ROAD GLIDE 3 REAR SUSPENSION

The Super Shox Setup We Recommend For Most SG3 & RG3 Riders

For most Street Glide 3 and Road Glide 3 riders, Super Shox SR1 Premier 14.5-inch shocks are where we recommend starting. The longer setup gives the rear suspension more usable travel, better bump absorption and improved clearance while keeping the focus on real-world three-wheel touring.

OUR STREET GLIDE 3 & ROAD GLIDE 3 PICK
SR1 • 14.5"
Premier 3-Wheel Series

Built for Harley three-wheel applications and configured around your rider weight, passenger use, luggage and normal riding load. The goal isn't simply a firmer shock — it's giving the suspension enough usable travel and the correct setup to better control the weight of the bike.

More Travel Better bump absorption More Clearance Helps on dips & inclines Built For Your Load Rider + passenger + gear Easy Preload Adjust as your load changes
Shop SR1 14.5"
14.5" FITMENT NOTE
Proper exhaust clearance matters with the longer setup. On certain 2017+ applications retaining the factory head pipe and catalytic converter, the Super Shox exhaust extension may be needed for proper swingarm-to-exhaust clearance. The 14.5" shocks mount in the factory shock location and should not be combined with a separate lift kit.
Your shocks are configured around how your SG3 or RG3 is actually used. Rider weight, passenger weight, luggage and typical load are collected so the spring and damping setup can be built around your application — not pulled from a generic one-size-fits-all shelf.
WHY WE START WITH 14.5"
More usable travel gives the suspension more room to do its job. On a three-wheel Touring bike carrying real weight, additional suspension travel can improve bump absorption and give the rear suspension more room to stay controlled over rough pavement instead of reaching the end of its travel.
CONFIDENCE BEFORE IT'S BUILT
We verify your fitment and rider information before the order moves forward. If something doesn't look right, we'd rather catch it before your shocks are built than leave you trying to solve it after they arrive.
WHY SUPER SHOX ON AN SG3 OR RG3?

A 3-Wheel Harley Puts Different Demands On Rear Suspension

Street Glide 3 and Road Glide 3 models carry weight and control that weight differently than a two-wheel Touring bike. Add a passenger, luggage and trip gear, and the demands change even more. Super Shox SR1 is configured around how your three-wheel Harley is actually used.

Built Around Your Actual Load Rider weight, passenger weight, luggage and normal riding load are used to configure the suspension before the shocks are built.
More Usable Suspension Travel The 14.5-inch setup gives the rear suspension more room to absorb rough pavement and control movement before reaching the end of its travel.
Improved Rear Clearance The longer setup also provides additional clearance through dips, inclines and the imperfect roads encountered on real touring miles.
WHY YOUR RIDER INFORMATION MATTERS

Buying SR1 is only part of getting the setup right.

Two riders can own the same Road Glide 3 or Street Glide 3 and place very different demands on the suspension. A solo rider running light isn't asking the same thing from the shocks as a rider carrying a passenger and several days of luggage.

That's why we collect your rider, passenger and load information. Super Shox uses it to configure the suspension around the weight and riding conditions your bike will actually see.

WHY WE START WITH 14.5"
More travel gives the suspension more room to do its job. The goal isn't simply to make the rear of the bike taller. The longer setup creates additional usable suspension travel, helping the shocks absorb bumps and control the weight of a three-wheel Touring bike more effectively.
14.5" FITMENT NOTE
Proper exhaust clearance matters with the longer setup. On applicable bikes retaining the factory head pipe and catalytic converter, a Super Shox exhaust extension may be required to provide proper swingarm-to-exhaust clearance. The 14.5" setup mounts in the factory shock location and should not be combined with a separate lift kit.
CONFIDENCE BEFORE IT'S BUILT
