Super Shox says its Premium SR2 and Platinum RR1 will not fit with FLHRC (Road King Classic) leather bags, or with 2001 and older swing arms.
SR2 uses Super Shox relocation mounts, which change where the shock sits. Super Shox lists the leather-bag exclusion for SR2 and RR1, so we don't sell SR2 for a Classic with leather bags.

From Super Shox's fitment notes:
Measure from the center of the top mounting bolt to the center of the bottom one. You don't need to remove the shock. Super Shox says stock touring shocks are either 12" or 13" fully extended.
A shock longer than 13" in the stock mounting location will cause axle-nut-to-muffler clearance issues on the right side with full-length exhaust systems. That matters when choosing an SR1 length.
Tell us your exhaust when you order, and see our TAB exhaust guide. We'll match the shock length to it.
For Harley-Davidson's air settings on your stock shocks, use your owner's manual. We don't publish pressure numbers here.
Super Shox are built around your rider weight, passenger and load, and arrive preset for you with your own load chart. You don't chase air pressure.
See how to use your load chart. Read why touring suspension feels harsh, or ask us how your load chart works.
Here's what happens between checkout and your first ride.
We verify every order within 24 hours. If anything looks off for your bike, weight or load, we contact you before the build starts.
Super Shox hand-builds your set in the USA around your rider profile. Build time is 3–9 business days.

Ask us before ordering. Super Shox says SR2 and RR1 will not fit with FLHRC leather bags, so we confirm the right setup with you first.
