Our take: if you ride a two-wheel touring Harley and aren't sure, SR2 LT is where most riders land. RR1 makes sense when you'll actually use the extra adjustment. You don't have to get it perfect: we review your bike, weight and load before anything is built.

How to choose

Pick by how you actually ride

Model year matters for fitment. Your load matters for the setup. Answer these four and the choice is usually obvious.

02

Solo, two-up or loaded?

Every set is built around rider weight, passenger use, Tour-Pak and luggage. Riding two-up or loaded often is exactly what SR2 LT is set up for.

03

Will you adjust it?

RR1 adds a remote reservoir and external compression adjustment. If you'd rather set it and ride, SR2 LT keeps it simple with preload adjustment.

04

Not on the list?

We only list verified fitment. If your bike or year isn't shown, use the Ask a Rider button at the top of the page and we'll confirm before you order.

What happens after you order: we review your bike and rider profile, your shocks are built to order in the USA, and they ship in 3–9 business days. Super Shox carries a limited lifetime warranty.

What riders say after the install

Verified Judge.me reviews from Dreaded Iron Moto customers, quoted as written.

★★★★★

SR2 LT · Street Glide listing

“These shocks are a night and day difference over my stock ones! No more back jarring bumps, these soak em up like they weren’t even there. So glad I went with the SR2 LT’s!!”

Mremainder · Judge.me verified review · Oct 2026

★★★★★

SR2 LT · Road Glide

“They perform great, the reason I got them was to help with the sudden joints that you sometimes can’t avoid that bottom out the suspension. These greatly reduce that jolt. The long travel version I got also made the rest of the ride more comfortable as well.”

Tom Branch · Judge.me verified review · Mar 2026

★★★★★

RR1 · 2018 Street Glide

“I just installed the Super Shox RR1 on my 2018 Street Glide, and wow what a difference! … the RR1 soaks up bumps like a champ and gives me actual confidence in the twisties. … Even my passenger noticed how much smoother the ride is!”

Lisa · Judge.me verified review · Dec 2025

★★★★★

SR1 · 2020 Tri Glide

“The test ride was super impressing, like a light switch from a hard ride to a soft ride. Now i have decided to keep it.”
