MAXIMUM VOLUME

Zombie

TAB’s loudest baffle option. Choose it when aggressive sound and maximum presence matter more than a restrained highway note.

The baffle is selected in the product options. Tip style and finish are separate visual choices and do not determine the baffle.

Appearance Tip style and finish

Straight-cut tips give the rear of the bike a clean, traditional look. Slash-cut tips create a sharper angle and can be rotated to adjust their final position.

Available tip finishes can include chrome or black, depending on the product. Choose only from the tip options shown in the product selectors.

Tip selection is primarily cosmetic. Check the product options for the exact cuts and finishes available on this listing.

Sold as a pair: your order includes two slip-on mufflers. If your bike has a nonstandard headpipe or you are uncertain about the exact year or submodel, contact us before ordering.

Installation and tuning Do slip-ons require a tune?

Slip-ons alone

A tune is not normally required when installing these slip-ons on an otherwise stock motorcycle. They are designed as a direct slip-on upgrade when the correct application is ordered.

When other engine parts change

Tuning becomes more important when the mufflers are combined with a high-flow intake, replacement headpipe, camshaft or other engine modifications. The tune should match the complete combination.

Professional installation is a good choice if you are unsure about fitment, hardware or exhaust clearance.

Hear It Before You Choose

Listen Before Selecting Your Setup

Hear the character of the 4.5-inch BAM Sticks, then compare the available baffles to choose the volume and sound that fit how you ride.

Video 01 · Pipe Sound Hear the 4.5-Inch BAM Sticks Listen to the deeper idle and aggressive sound under throttle.

Listen for the deeper idle, stronger throttle bark, and large-body tone that separates the 4.5-inch BAM Sticks from smaller or higher-pitched slip-ons.

What to listen for: A low, full-bodied idle followed by a sharper, more aggressive exhaust note when the throttle opens.
Video 02 · Baffle Comparison Compare the TAB Baffle Options Compare controlled touring sound with maximum-volume aggression.

The muffler body creates the foundation, but the baffle determines how loud and aggressive the final setup becomes. Listen before choosing your baffle above.

Maximum Volume Zombie Baffles

Louder, more aggressive, and built for riders who want maximum presence every time the throttle opens.

Dreaded Iron recommendation: Choose the louvered core for the strongest balance of sound and touring comfort. Choose Zombie when maximum volume is the priority.
Listening note: Phones, headphones, speakers, microphones, and recording conditions can change perceived volume. Use these videos to compare tone and relative loudness—not as an exact measurement of volume beside the motorcycle.

TAB Performance 4.5" B.A.M. Stick Slip-On Mufflers (Chrome)

2017–Present Harley-Davidson Tri Glide & Trike Models

If your trike still sounds like it’s holding back, this is where that changes.

The 4.5" TAB B.A.M. Sticks are built for Harley trike riders who want a deep, aggressive tone without sacrificing rideability. They don’t just make your bike louder—they give it a cleaner, throatier idle and a hard bark when you roll into the throttle.

This isn’t a subtle upgrade. It gives your trike the sound and presence it should have had from the factory.

What These Pipes Actually Sound Like

TAB is known for producing a deep, rich tone without the high-pitched rasp found in some other exhaust systems.

With the 4.5" B.A.M. Sticks, you get:

  • A low, throaty idle that sounds solid instead of tinny

  • A sharp bark under throttle that wakes the bike up

  • A fuller exhaust note that matches the size and presence of a Harley trike

  • Different sound and volume levels depending on your selected baffles

Your baffle choice matters—it determines how aggressive your final setup will sound.

 Choose Your Baffle Setup

Louvered Core (2.5")

A balanced, deep tone with more controlled volume.

Best for most riders and long-distance touring.

Zombie Baffles

Loud, aggressive and unapologetic.

Best for riders who want maximum volume and presence.

If you’re unsure, the 2.5" Louvered Core is the better starting point for most long-distance trike riders. Choose the Zombie baffles when maximum volume is the priority.

 Built for Real Trike Riders

  • Large 4.5" muffler body for a deeper exhaust tone

  • Removable baffle cores for greater control over your sound

  • Rotatable tips in 90-degree increments

  • Chrome finish

  • Multiple tip options available

  • Sold as a complete pair of two mufflers

  • Limited lifetime warranty

 Sound Without Overcomplicating the Build

These slip-ons are designed to replace the factory mufflers without requiring a complete exhaust-system change.

A tune is generally not required when installing slip-ons by themselves. If your trike also has an aftermarket intake, head pipe or additional engine modifications, proper tuning may help you get the best overall performance from the complete setup.

 Installation

These are designed as a bolt-on muffler upgrade for compatible 2017-and-newer Harley-Davidson trike models.

Installation requires basic hand tools and does not normally require fabrication. Installation time may vary depending on the condition of the factory exhaust clamps and mounting hardware.

 What to Expect

  • Some exhaust-tip discoloration can develop over time

  • Discoloration may be more noticeable depending on tip style and orientation

  • This is normal for a performance exhaust component and is not necessarily a product defect

 Real Rider Take

If you’re tired of the restrained factory exhaust note, the 4.5" B.A.M. Sticks are one of the cleanest ways to give your Tri Glide or Harley trike a deeper, stronger sound without replacing the entire exhaust system.

Choose the Louvered Cores for a balanced touring setup or Zombie baffles when you want it loud.
