TAB Performance Blunt Force Slip-On Mufflers
Deep Growl. Raw Attitude. No Guesswork.
If you’re looking for a set of pipes that instantly change the personality of your Harley touring bike, the TAB Performance Blunt Force Slip-On Mufflers deliver exactly that.
These are built for riders who want a loud, deep growl at idle with a raspy bark when you roll into the throttle. The shorter blunt-cut tip gives the bike a more aggressive look, and the standard Zombie baffle inside delivers the kind of sound most riders expect when they upgrade their exhaust.
Around town, the tone is deep and mean. When you crack the throttle, the pipes come alive with that signature TAB bark that turns heads and reminds you why you ride.
This setup keeps things simple. No endless option list, no confusing choices. Just proven sound, clean looks, and straightforward installation.
At Dreaded Iron Moto, we like upgrades that change the ride without complicating it, and these slip-ons hit that balance perfectly.
What They Sound Like
Sound is personal, but here’s what most riders notice right away:
• Deep rumble at idle
• Loud, aggressive tone under throttle
• Raspy bark when accelerating
• Strong Harley character without sounding thin or hollow
The included Zombie baffle is TAB’s most popular option because it delivers that aggressive sound riders are usually chasing.
Why Riders Choose Blunt Force Mufflers
• Deep, loud exhaust tone with a strong growl
• Raspy bark when you get on the throttle
• Short blunt-cut tip for a more aggressive bagger look
• Simple slip-on installation using factory mounting points
• Proven TAB Performance sound and build quality
• Sold as a complete set of two mufflers
Do I Need a Tune?
Most riders can install slip-ons without tuning and ride the bike safely, especially if the rest of the exhaust system is stock.
However, a fuel tuner or ECM tune is recommended if you want to:
• maximize throttle response
• optimize performance
• prevent excessive heat or discoloration over time
If you’re running a performance cam or upgraded head pipe, tuning becomes more important.
If you’re unsure about your setup, reach out — we’re happy to help riders choose the right path.

1995–2016 Touring Models

Fitment Questions We Commonly Get
Will these fit my stock Harley head pipe?
Yes. These slip-ons are designed to work with the factory head pipe and most aftermarket head pipes.
Will they work with a 2-into-1 header?
No. These are designed for dual exhaust touring setups, not 2-into-1 systems.
Will they fit with stock heat shields?
Yes. They retain compatibility with the factory heat shield setup.
Do they fit Trike models?
Yes. These are compatible with 2009-Up Harley-Davidson Trikes.
A Note From Dreaded Iron Moto
A lot of exhaust descriptions focus on specs.
Riders usually just want to know one thing:
How does it actually sound and feel on the road?
The Blunt Force slip-ons deliver a loud, deep growl with an aggressive bark when you twist the throttle, giving your touring bike the attitude many riders feel the stock exhaust lacks.
If you're chasing a more aggressive bagger sound without overcomplicating your setup, these are a straightforward upgrade that does exactly what riders expect.
If you'd like, I can also help you create the conversion block under the Add-to-Cart button for these pipes (the small trust/decision block that tends to increase exhaust conversions).
