The Redline 2-1 brings both cylinder paths into one collector and muffler. TAB positions this layout for riders prioritizing low- and midrange pull, including roll-on performance.

If you prefer the traditional dual-pipe look or a layout geared toward higher-RPM riding, compare the Redline 2-2. The best choice depends on your bike, engine setup, and priorities.

Fitment, finish, and muffler length 2017-up M8 Touring • Black or Chrome • No Trikes

Fits 2017-up Harley-Davidson M8 FL Touring models, including compatible Road Glide, Street Glide, Road King, Electra Glide, and Ultra models. This system does not fit Trike models.

Choose Black or Chrome and select Shorty or Standard muffler length in the product selectors. If your bike has aftermarket bags, lowers, or other parts near the exhaust path, contact us to confirm fit and clearance before ordering.

Plan for fuel tuning as part of a full-system installation. The right tune depends on your engine and other modifications; consult a qualified motorcycle tuner for your setup.

TAB designates this product for race use and off-road/closed-course use only. It is not for installation on a motorcycle used for road transport. The system does not contain a catalyst and is not legal for road use.

This product does not conform to California CARB standards and cannot ship to California. Orders with a California shipping address will be canceled and refunded. TAB also states that the exhaust components do not meet EPA emissions and noise guidelines.

TAB requires acceptance of its race-use terms during checkout. Please review those terms before purchasing.

Installation and warranty Plan for a full-system install and tune

A full-system swap is more involved than replacing slip-on mufflers. TAB’s installation guidance recommends dry-fitting and checking clearance around the frame, floorboards, and lowers, installing the supplied new port gaskets, checking for exhaust leaks, and following the model-specific instructions for torque values.

TAB lists a limited lifetime warranty for this system. Review the manufacturer’s warranty terms for coverage and conditions.

Do I need a tune with the 2-1 system?

Yes — to get what you’re paying for. The 2-1 improves scavenging and airflow, and the bike needs fuel and timing adjusted to match. It will run after install, but an EFI tune unlocks the real benefits: stronger torque, smoother throttle, and cooler running temps.

Is a 2-1 too loud for touring?

Not if it’s set up right. TAB 2-1 systems have an aggressive tone under throttle and settle down at cruise. Loudness is mostly about baffle choice and tune, not just the pipe. If you ride long days or two-up, tell us your priorities and we’ll help you pick the right setup.

2-1 vs 2-2 — how should I decide?

2-1: strongest mid-range, sportier feel, best for cammed or performance builds
2-2: balanced power, classic bagger look, smoother touring manners

If passing power and throttle hit matter more than traditional appearance → go 2-1.

Is installation really bolt-on?

Yes. No cutting, welding, or fabrication. Most riders can install in a garage with basic tools. The only step that benefits from experience is the first tuner flash/setup.
