The Super Shox Setup We Recommend For Most Trike Riders
For Harley Tri Glide and Freewheeler models, Super Shox SR1 Premier 14.5-inch shocks are where we recommend starting. The longer setup gives the suspension more room to work for better comfort, control and clearance under real touring loads.
Built for Harley three-wheel applications and configured around your rider weight, passenger use, luggage and normal riding load. The goal isn't simply a firmer shock — it's giving the suspension the travel and setup needed to better control the weight of the trike.
A Trike Asks More From Its Rear Suspension
A Tri Glide or Freewheeler carries significant rear weight, and that load changes quickly with a passenger, Tour Pack, luggage and trip gear. Super Shox SR1 is built around that three-wheel application and configured around how your trike is actually used.
The shock itself is only part of the setup.
Two people can ride the same Tri Glide and place very different demands on the rear suspension. A solo rider traveling light is asking something different from the shocks than a rider carrying a passenger, Tour Pack and several days of gear.
That's why we collect your rider, passenger and load information. Super Shox uses it to configure the suspension around your actual load and riding use — not to decide which shock series you need.
We review your bike and rider information before the shocks move into the build process. If something doesn't look right, we'd rather catch it before they're built than leave you trying to solve it afterward.
